CCMC Commissioner warns that advertising banners placed in the Corporation areas of Coimbatore without proper prior permission of the Corporation will draw imposition of fines and removal.
Coimbatore: In Coimbatore Corporation's West Zone DB Road, advertising banners that had been placed without prior permission of the Corporation on street light poles along the pavements of the road were removed by Corporation workers.
Also, two companies that were involved in the placement of the unauthorized banners were fined Rs.10,000 each on the orders of the new Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation (CCMC) Commissioner, M Prathap.
In addition, the CCMC Commissioner warned that advertising banners placed in the Corporation areas of Coimbatore without the proper permission of the Corporation will draw imposition of appropriate fines and will be removed by Corporation officials.
