No Trains ... 1.3 million railway employees call for indefinite strike.

The National Federation of Indian Railwaymen calls for an indefinite nationwide strike from July 11, 2016.

This was due to the disappointing behaviour by the government on  the charter of demands submitted by them in December 2015 said M Raghavaiah, NFIR General Secretary

Consequently, the organisations of the central government employees - Railways, Defence, Postal, Income Tax, Central Customs and Excise, etc whose number is over 32 lakhs have taken a unanimous decision on 3rd June to go on indefinite strike from July 11.
