In his statement, the District Collector said "Under the program, funded by National Minorities Development & Finance Corporation (NMDFC), the minorities who underwent education through TAMCO will be provided with free skill development training through The Apparel Training & Design Centre (ATDC) which assured job opportunity".
Under this scheme, 50 beneficiaries will be trained for three months on embroidery. Minorities such as Muslims, Christians, Buddhists, Sikhs, Parsis and Jains can apply for the program.
Eligiblity :
The family's annual income should not exceed Rs 5 lakhs. The beneficiary should be in the age limit of 18 to 55 years of age. During the free training, each recipient will be provided with Rs. 1000 as an assistance fund but will not be supplied with any grants for accommodation or food.
The interview will take place at the Apparel Training and Design Centre located in No 1D, First cross street, CV Naidu street, Jaya Nagar, Thiruvallur District 602001, on October 3, from 11 am onwards.
Interested candidates can apply with their original caste certificate, income certificate, Aadhar Card, Education certificate etc.
