TNAU to host 'Organic Agriculture' training program on June 7

Training fees for the training program will be Rs.590 per participant and will be held from 9.30 am to 1 pm, and then from 2 pm to 5 pm.


Coimbatore: The Tamil Nadu Agricultural University's (TNAU) Nammazhvar Organic Farming Research Centre (NOFRC) will host an Organic Farming training on June 7 at their department on TNAU campus.

The following topics will be covered under this training programme:

* nutrient management

* weed management composting technique and organic input preparations

* organic pests and diseases management

* organic certification and Participatory Guarantee System (PGS).

Training fees for the training program will be Rs.590 per participant and will be held on June 7 from 9.30 am to 1 pm, and then from 2 pm to 5 pm.
