Coimbatore: The Department of Crop Physiology, TNAU in Coimbatore organised the foundation stone-laying ceremony for the Environment-controlled Greenhouse facility on Wednesday.

Dr. V Geethalakshmi, Vice-Chancellor of TNAU laid the foundation stone, and also inaugurated the Farmers Exhibition Hall and the TNAU crop boosters sale unit.

The Vice-Chancellor also distributed TNAU Crop Boosters to the farmers and interacted with them about the uses and magnificence of TNAU Crop Boosters. Dr. C R Chinnamuthu, Director (i/c) Crop Management, Dr. M K Kalarani, Professor and Head, Department of Crop Physiology, Deans, Directors, Professor and Heads of different Departments, scientists, staff and students graced the occasion.
