Training on mushroom cultivation was imparted to the tribal people in Valparai, Coimbatore district. The tribal people day was celebrated on behalf of the Women's Welfare Project as per the order of the Coimbatore District Collector at the Manamakizh Mandir in Valparai.
Electrical Supervising Engineer Rabeek Ahmed was the special guest and inaugurated the training. Gomathi trained women on mushroom cultivation on behalf of the Indian Institute of Agricultural Research and the Institute of Agricultural Sciences at the event. At the end of the event Vasuki thanked the Municipality Community Coordinator. The event was attended by a large number of tribal women.
