Panchakavya is a natural nutrient fertilizer that promotes the growth of crops and gives immunity. This can improve the quality of the soil and promote the growth of crops. Panchakavya is made from cow dung, cow urine, milk, yoghurt and ghee. Apart from these, jaggery, tender coconut water and poovan banana are also used. When this mixture is fermented for 30 days, it results in panchakavya solution. Panchakavya prepared in this method can yield miraculous results.
Panchakavya contains nutrients, micronutrients, growth promoters and pest and disease control agents. There are also beneficial microorganisms such as Lactobacillus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Actinomycetes, yeast and methylotrophs. These promote crop growth and disease resistance. Panchakavaya can be used for all types of crops.
