Coimbatore: The monthly training on 'Bee Keeping' organised by Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) will be held on February 6, 2020.

Coimbatore: The monthly training on 'Bee Keeping' organised by Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) will be held on February 6, 2020. 

Hands-on training will be imparted on various essential aspects of bee keeping like identification of bee species and social organization of bees, rearing Indian bees in boxes, general and seasonal management, bee forage, a yield increase of crops through cross pollination, honey extraction and processing, enemies and diseases of bees and their management.

The candidates willing to undergo the one-day training are asked to reach the Department of Agrl. Entomology on or before 9.00 am of February 6 and remit Rs.590 including GST. 

Training timings will be between 10.00 am to 5.00 pm.
