Students of Amrita College of Agricultural Sciences visit Horticulture Research Centre at TNAU

Coimbatore: Students of Amrita College of Agricultural Sciences in Coimbatore visited the Horticulture Research Centre at TNAU on December 12. The students took part in classes which explained on the differentiation between medicinal plants and ornamental plants.

Coimbatore: Students of Amrita College of Agricultural Sciences in Coimbatore visited the Horticulture Research Centre at TNAU on December 12. The students took part in classes which explained on the differentiation between medicinal plants and ornamental plants. 



Thousands of medicinal plants are being cultivated and monitored at the research center run by the Tamil Nadu Department of Horticulture here. Students of various Agricultural Colleges from all over the country visit the centre to learn about their specialties and cultivation methods.



In this scenario, the students from Amrita College of Agricultural Sciences in Coimbatore visited the centre today. They expressed that it was extremely useful session, a release said.
