Coimbatore: A two-day training on value-added products from Amla is being conducted at the Centre for Post Harvest Technology, Agricultural Engineering College and Research Institute, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) on December 11-12, a release said.
Coimbatore: A two-day training on value-added products from Amla is being conducted at the Centre for Post Harvest Technology, Agricultural Engineering College and Research Institute, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) on December 11-12, a release said.
According to the release, the training will cover processing of Amla into various value added products -- beverages, concentrates, dehydrated products, squash, ready to serve syrup, juice, jam, honey, candy, supari and powder. And, details for obtaining license for establishing a fruit processing industry will also be covered in the training.
Interested people can pay a training fees of Rs.1,770.00 (Rs.1,500 + GST 18%), in person on the first day of the training.
