Coimbatore: A two-day training on “Value Added Products from Millets” will be held at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU), Coimbatore on November 5 and 6, a release said.
Compared to rice, millets are more nutritious and the value added products from millets have more health benefits. With an aim to develop skills among households and small and micro entrepreneurs, the TNAU is offering this training on preparation of value added products from millets.
The experts will teach the participants on making of foods like Pasta, Bakery products and Instant food mixes all using various millets.
Interested people are requested to pay a training fee of Rs.1500/- with additional GST on the 1st day of the training programme.
