TNAU to host two-day training on 'Value Added Products from Amla'

Coimbatore: A two-day training on 'Value Added Products from Amla' is being organized at the Centre for Post Harvest Technology, Agricultural Engineering College and Research Institute in Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) on October 22 and 23.

Coimbatore: A two-day training on 'Value Added Products from Amla' is being organized at the Centre for Post Harvest Technology, Agricultural Engineering College and Research Institute in Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) on October 22 and 23. 

The training will cover processing of Amla into value-added products like Amla beverages, squash, ready-to-serve, Amla syrup and plain juice, Amla concentrates, jam, dehydrated Amla products, Amla honey, candy, supari and powder. 

Details for obtaining licenses for establishing the fruit processing industry will also be explained. Interested persons are requested to pay a training fee of Rs.1770 and additional GST, in person, on the first day of the training.
