TNAU to host training on 'Preparation of Bakery and Confectionery Products' on Oct. 15, 16

Coimbatore: A two-day training program on 'Preparation of Bakery and Confectionery Products' is to be conducted by the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) in Coimbatore on October 15 and 16.

Coimbatore: A two-day training program on 'Preparation of Bakery and Confectionery Products' is to be conducted by the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) in Coimbatore on October 15 and 16. 

With bakery products gaining popularity due to variety and availability, there has been a drastic growth of the bakery industry which aids in creating avenues for self-employment. A wide variety of confectionery products are now being prepared from the combination of sugar, cocoa and dairy products. 

Aiming to develop skills among entrepreneurs, TNAU is hosting the two-day training on preparation of a variety of breads, fruit candy, cakes and biscuit varieties, chikkies, chocolates (homemade variety, lollipops, jujips, fondant and fudge). Those interested are requested to pay a training fee of Rs.1500 along with GST on the first day of the training program.
