Coimbatore : Dr.P. Rajkumar, Professor (Processing), Department of Food Process Engineering, AEC&RI, TNAU, Coimbatore received the National Agricultural Scientific Innovation award (NASI) from Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi.
Coimbatore : Dr.P. Rajkumar, Professor (Processing), Department of Food Process Engineering, AEC&RI, TNAU, Coimbatore received the National Agricultural Scientific Innovation award (NASI) from Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi.
The award was given for his contribution towards the development of processing machinery viz.,Tamarind dehuller and deseeder, Improved mini dhal mill, Wax applicator for fruits, Foam mat dryer, Hybrid dryer, Coconut dehusker and Colour sorter for spherical fruits.
The award is recognized under Innovation and Research on Farm Implements during the foundation day of ICAR, New Delhi.
