Coimbatore: A two-day training on 'Value Added Products' from Millets will be held at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU), Coimbatore on July 10-11.
"Millets play a major role in health for improving the nutritional status. However, millets are very sparingly used in our daily diet. Hence, it is important to learn on the possible value added products from millets", said a release from TNAU.
During the training, making of products like traditional foods, pasta foods, bakery products and Instant food mixes from Millets will be taught to the participants.
Interested persons are requested to pay a training fee of Rs.1500 along with 18% GST, on the day of the training programme.
