Coimbatore: The Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) is offering a one-day training on Bee Keeping on July 8 at the Department of Agricultural Entomology.
Hands-on training will be imparted on topics like identification of bee species and social organization of bees, rearing Indian bees in boxes, general and seasonal management, bee forage, yield increase of crops through cross pollination, honey extraction and processing, enemies and diseases of bees and ways to mange them.
Interested candidates will have to be present for the one-day training at the Department of Agricultural Entomology, before 9 am and remit Rs.590 for the training which will be held from 10 am to 5 pm. A certificate will be given to the participants at the end of the training.
