TNAU to train on ‘Value-added products from Amla’ on April 10,11

Coimbatore: A two-day training on 'Value-added products from Amla' is to be held at the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU), Coimbatore on April 10 and 11, between 9 am and 5 pm.


Coimbatore: A two-day training on 'Value-added products from Amla' is to be held at the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU), Coimbatore on April 10 and 11, between 9 am and 5 pm.

During the training, participants will be trained on the processing of Amla beverages such as squash, ready-to-serve, amla syrup and plain juice, Amla concentrates such as jam and halwa, dehydrated amla products such as amla honey, candy, supari and powder. Details for obtaining license for establishing a fruit-processing industry unit will also be covered.

Those who wish to participate in the training are requested to pay a training fee of Rs.1500 on the first day of the training program.
