Coimbatore: The Directorate of Extension Education in TNAU and Agricultural Technology Application Research Institute of Hyderabad has jointly organised a two-day workshop for KVKs at the TNAU campus, today.
Coimbatore: The Directorate of Extension Education in TNAU and Agricultural Technology Application Research Institute of Hyderabad has jointly organised a two-day workshop for KVKs at the TNAU campus, today.

On the first day of the workshop, more than 100 scientists from 15 farm science centres (Krishi Vigyan Kendra) from various districts of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry has participated and presented their pre-annual action plan for 2019-20. Various technical aspects of farming techniques and management technologies were discussed in this workshop.
Scientists from TNAU, Indian Council of Agricultural Research and Agricultural Technology Application Research Institute evaluated the plans explained by KVK scientists. After getting approval from the evaluating committee, action plans will be implemented in KVKs of all the districts.

Dr. N Kumar, TNAU Vice-Chancellor, Dr. M Jawaharlal, Director of Extension Education, Dr. D Ramasamy, Director of Extension Education UVAS, Dr. R Jayaraman, Director of Extension education of TNJFU, Dr. K S Subramanian, Director of Research TNAU, Dr. J Venkata Prabhu, Director Planning and Monitoring TNAU, Dr.Y G Prasad, Director, ICAR - ATARI of Hyderabad and Dr. A Christoper Lourduraj, Professor and Head, Training Division were also participated and felicitated at the workshop.
On the second day of the workshop on Saturday, the remaining 16 KVKs are participating.
