Based on the expertise of faculty members of the Department of Nematology, a training programme has been organized by Dr. K Prabakar, Director, Centre for Plant Protection Studies in the Department of Nematology, under the leadership of Dr. K Poornima, from March 11 to 22.

The student, Hannah Arseneault, who studies Ist year M.Sc. in the Faculty of Agriculture, Dalhousie Agricultural Campus, Truro, Nova Scotia, Canada is attending the TNAU program. She will be familiarized with all the Nematological techniques to empower her to handle the techniques required for her thesis research work at her university.
