A one-day training session on banana farming and fertilizer management titled 'Olimayamaana Edhirkaalam' was held at TNAU. Dr. A Raviraj, Dr. S Pannerselvam, Dr. K Nagarajan, Dr. M Ilaiyaraja and Dr. P Arun Kumar trained the participants on various topics which included the importance of water management in agriculture, fertilizer usage, impacts of climate change and uses of soil health cards. More than 50 banana farmers took part in the session. A guide book by the ITC company has been presented to the 50 participants.
