Coimbatore: The Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) will offer a one-day training program on Bee Keeping on February 6, at the Department of Agricultural Entomology of the University from 10 am to 5 pm.
Coimbatore: The Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) will offer a one-day training program on Bee Keeping on February 6, at the Department of Agricultural Entomology of the University from 10 am to 5 pm.
During the training, participants will be imparted knowledge on identification of bee species and social organization of bees, rearing Indian bees in boxes, general and seasonal management, bee forage, yield increase of crops through cross pollination, honey extraction and processing, and enemies and diseases of bees and their management.
Interested Candidates can contact the Dept. of Agrl. Entomology before 9 am on the day of training and remit Rs.500 in person, on the day of training. A certificate will be given to the participants at the end of the training.
