UPL launches grain protection campaign in Coimbatore

Coimbatore: Agriculture based company UPL launched ‘Protect Grains; Each and Every Gain is Precious’ campaign in Coimbatore today to prevent wastage.

Coimbatore: Agriculture based company UPL launched ‘Protect Grains; Each and Every Gain is Precious’ campaign in Coimbatore today to prevent wastage. 

UPL organised a live demonstration at Nathagoundenpur village here and hundreds of farmers in the village took part in the event. The firm demonstrated farmers methods to protect grains using their product Quickphos and they were also made aware of the necessary precautions to be taken during the use of these chemicals. The farmers also took an oath for the protection of food grains during the event. 

According to a statement, UPL has already launched this initiative in states like Maharashtra, Bihar, UP, Uttarakhand, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
