Coimbatore : A MoU was signed between Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU), Coimbatore and Borougue (India) Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai to establish a greenhouse unit at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Dharmapuri.
A release from TNAU states, "The MoU was signed by Dr. D Sudhagar, Registrar, TNAU and Anil Krishna, Vice President, Borougue (India) Pvt. Ltd. in the presence of Dr. N Kumar, Vice Chancellor, TNAU, Coimbatore, Dr. H Philip, Director of Extension Education, TNAU, Coimbatore, Dr. P S Shanmugam, Programme Coordinator, KVK, Dharmapuri and Rakesh Pandya of Borougue (India) Pvt. Ltd. Mumbai."
The release further stated that a greenhouse model for protected cultivation will be demonstrated at KVK, Dharmapuri, for the benefit of farmers with high value flowers and vegetables like gerbera, chrysanthemum capsicum and cucumber.
