Coimbatore: The Tamil Nadu government has sanctioned the establishment of a Center of Excellence in Biotechnology at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University here. The Center of excellence will have state-of-art facilities for research and development in biotechnology.
Coimbatore: The Tamil Nadu government has sanctioned the establishment of a Center of Excellence in Biotechnology at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University here. The Center of excellence will have state-of-art facilities for research and development in biotechnology.
A release from TNAU said that the Center will be set up at the TNAU campus premises in an area of 5 acres with all necessary infrastructure and equipment to meet the requirements of students, researchers and private industries. The total budget outlay of the project is Rs. 430 crores. This project will be a joint venture between the State Government, NABARD, TNAU, Private Industries, Philanthropists and other donors.
