TNAU organizes training on Bee Keeping

Coimbatore: A one-day training programme on Beekeeping will be organized by the Department Of Agrl. Entomology of TNAU at the college premises on the 6th of August from 10 am to 5 pm.

Coimbatore: A one-day training programme on Beekeeping will be organized by the Department Of Agrl. Entomology of TNAU at the college premises on the 6th of August from 10 am to 5 pm.

 According to the statement, hands-on training will be imparted to the participants on the Identification of bee species and social organization of bees, rearing Indian bees in boxes, general and seasonal management. 

Participants will also be trained on bee forage, yield increase of crops through cross-pollination, Honey extraction and processing and nemies and diseases of bees and their management.  

The release further added, ‘The participants will be charged a training fee of Rs 500 and certificate will be provided to the participants at the end of training.’ For further queries people can contact Professor and Head, Department of Agrl.
