TNAU to conduct training on 'Bee Keeping'

Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) will offer one-day training on “Bee Keeping” on 6th October (Friday) at the Department of Agricultural Entomology. 

According to the release from the University,hands on training will be imparted on the following subjects:

ï‚·Identification of bee species and social organization of bees

ï‚·Rearing Indian bees in boxes, general and seasonal management

ï‚·Bee forage, yield increase of crops through cross pollination

ï‚·Honey extraction and processing

ï‚·Enemies and diseases of bees and their management.

Interested candidates are requested to be present in person at the Department of Agricultural Entomology before 9.00 am on the day of training. Certificate will be given to the participants at the end of the training.

Date : 6th October, 2017. 

Timings : 10.00 am to 5.00 pm.

Fee : Rs. 250/-
