Agri services firm Akshamaala is looking to establish 1,000 agri-clinics in the next 15 months and provide various services to about six lakh farmers.
The company said with the additional clinics it will provide employment to 60,000 youth across 300 districts in the country over the next 30 months.
Besides, the revenue is expected to be doubled to Rs 7.5 crore by the end of next fiscal.
Akshamaala provides services to help farmers in provisioning inputs at the right price and at the same time help them sell their output at the best price.
"With these 1,000 agri-clinics, the company will generate employment for 60,000 youth over the next 30 months across 300 districts in the country," Akshamaala CEO and founding partner Ashok Prasad said.
He further said the company will invest about Rs 1 crore on establishing these clinics. The company's revenue is also estimated to be doubled to Rs 7.5 crore by the end of next financial year from Rs 3.2 crore as of now.
The company provide various services such as soil testing, services and information related to various agriculture inputs including seeds and fertiliser.
For these agri-clinics, the youth from rural sector would be trained in soil collection and testing using mobile kits, and besides that it will also provide farmers with all agri-inputs seeds, agrochemicals and other fertilisers, he said.
