Rathinam College of Arts and Science is gearing up to welcome their new class of 2023 with the Anugraha – Freshmen Induction 2023 program. Scheduled from July 19th to 21st, the event seeks to assist the freshman class in adapting to their new college environment, while also encouraging them to embrace the culture and ethos of the institution.
Coimbatore: Rathinam College of Arts and Science hosts "ANUGRAHA - FRESHMEN INDUCTION 2023" from the 19th to the 21st of July 2023 for first-year UG students.
The transition from high school to college is one of the most challenging moments in a student's life.
The motto of this program is to help the students to accommodate in the new environment and inculcate the ethos and culture of the Institution.
Throughout the programme, a variety of motivational talks and inspirational speeches by noteworthy persons have been organised for the students. The students will be given insights about universal human values apart from co- curricular activities. Orientation will be given for the students on career opportunities, Design thinking, Club activities and concluded with the Campus Tour.
The inaugural function will take place on July 19, 2023. Dr Madhan A. Sendhil, Chairman of the Rathinam Group of Institutions, will deliver the Presidential address, while Dr. R. Manickam, CEO & Secretary, will elaborate on the institution. The welcoming address will be given by Dr. S. Balasubramanian, Principal of Rathinam College of Arts and Science. Deans and Heads of various departments will be there to support this event to be a successful one.
The First day of the program is scheduled for the School of Science which comprises the courses like Bio Technology, Microbiology, Maths, Physics and Psychology UG courses and School of Fine Arts which comprises the courses like B.A. English, B.Sc Costume Design and Fashion and B.Sc Visual Communication UG courses and BBA UG courses.
Dr. Jayanthasri Balakrishnan, Public speaker and retired professor of English is the Chief Guest of the program The second day of the program is organized especially for the School of Computer Science UG courses. R. Sathish Raj, CEO, E- Crusaders, Chennai is the chief guest of the day.
The third day of the Induction programme is set for the School of Commerce, which includes students from the B.Com CA, B.Com PA, B.Com with ACCA, B.Com BPS, B.Com CS, B.Com IT, and B.Com International Business UG programmes. Dr. Kavidasan, Director, Roots Industries India Ltd., is the chief guest of the program.
