Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) successfully organized the TNAU Job Fair 2023 on 19th and 20th July 2023 at the Convocation Hall, TNAU, Coimbatore. Over 30 companies participated in the campus placement drive and more than 700 students from various academic levels, including undergraduate and postgraduate students of all disciplines, took part in the job fair.
Coimbatore: The Centre for Students Welfare, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, has organised the TNAU Job Fair 2023 on the 19th and 20th of July 2023 at Convocation Hall, TNAU, Coimbatore.
Dr.N.Maragatham, Dean of the Centre for Students Welfare, kicked off the Job Fair. She thanked the firms in her remarks for the trust they placed in the university. She underlined that the curriculum is also designed to meet the needs of the students' academic and career-related skills. Students at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University are more motivated to maintain their physical fitness in order to compete for jobs in the government, nongovernmental organisations (NGOs), service industry, banking, large national and international corporations, and research labs.

Dr.V.Geethalakshmi, Vice Chancellor of TNAU in Coimbatore, delivered the inaugural address and encouraged the participating firms to continue positively supporting TNAU Job Fair 2023. In her lecture, she urged and inspired students at the main campus and all of TNAU's component institutions to seek employment that would allow them to apply their gained knowledge and talents. It is one of those places where students can take advantage of the possibilities offered and succeed in life.
Dr.K.Sellamuthu, the Placement Coordinator at the Centre for Students Welfare, gave a briefing on the preparations being made for the TNAU Job Fair 2023 as well as its significance. He also discussed the efforts made to hold inspirational lectures for the students on how to create a CV, take part in group discussions, and conduct a personal interview.
Additionally, the placement officials of constituent colleges and the faculty of CSW, including Dr.J.Venkitaprabu, Dr.P.Muthulakshmi, S.P.ShanmugaPriya, and Dr.G.Ashok Kumar, were instrumental in the successful organisation of the TNAU Job Fair 2023. Various companies also provided to the students through presentation and videos the Pre-Placement discussion about the nature of the job and company emoluments. Dr.J.Venkitaprabu, Professor (Agrl. Extension) Placement Coordinator, Centre for Students Welfare TNAU, Coimbatore, bequeathed vote of appreciation to conclude the session.
