Coimbatore: The Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation Commissioner, M Prathap participated in the general administration forum organized at the Coimbatore Government Arts College campus.
He motivated students by elucidating on methods for preparing successfully for UPSC and other Government examinations.

He inaugurated the Public Administration Department Forum 2022-23 on Tuesday which was conducted within the college premises. The CCMC Commissioner said, "I am very happy to participate in this forum. Students should put in hard work and effort to prepare for UPSC and other Government exams with interest. Therefore, students studying in public administration must appear for various competitive exams including IAS, IPS, IRS, etc. Inculcate the habit of reading every day, especially the newspapers, which is very much important."
"Also, one should plan and manage time to read various books for competitive exams carefully and with interest. With today's scientific development, the need to attend various private training centres for preparation is not mandatory. Science and technology have progressed making the study materials for competitive exams very much available through WhatsApp, websites, YouTube, Google etc.," he added.
The Principal of Government Arts College, Head of the General Administration Department, Controller of Examination and over 60 students participated in the event.
