Coimbatore: Karpagam College of Engineering's Department of Mechanical Engineering hosted a one-day workshop titled 'Overview of HVAC Applications in Industries' on Thursday. About 96 students studying in their third year of Mechanical Engineering participated in the workshop.

K Veeramanikandan, AP/Mech welcomed the resource person for the workshop, N Vignesh, Design Engineer, R&D, V Solutions and also felicitated the gathering. N Vignesh elaborated about HVAC and its uses in industrial applications since its inception and showed practical working models as well as shared about on-going projects, currently.

He also explained about the job opportunities available in HVAC field especially in Gulf countries. He emphasized to students on the importance of learning various software like CATIA, CREO to enhance their knowledge and also to be able to secure employment opportunities.
