Coimbatore: The Department of Social Work, Sri Krishna Arts and Science College (SKASC). Kuniamuthur, Coimbatore organized a workshop on "Navigating Research in the 21st Century: Exploring Innovative Methodologies" recently at the college premises.

Dr. J.M. Arul Kamaraj, Assistant Professor, Department of Social Work, Loyola College, Chennai was the Resource Person to the workshop.
He said that Research in the 21st century paved ways in inventing various new technologies and innovative research methodologies is the need of hour.
Research is essential for creating new knowledge, improving social policies, programmes and addressing social problems. Many problems in society are affecting social developments.
Students and research scholars have to think critically and creatively on these problems and should solve all these problems.
Understand the real-world problems in society and find out solutions to them. MSW Students should engage in research and develop new and innovative research methodologies to address social problems.
The future society is going to have new transformation, so it is the right time to apply research to face the problems.

Addiction is going to affect people in many ways. MSW students address these addictions related problems and give a new solution.
