Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan presides over Staff Day Commemoration at PSG College of Arts and Science

The Governor of Telangana and Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry, Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan presented honorary awards to the staff of the institution in recognition of their meritorious service.



Coimbatore:Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan, Governor of Telangana and Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry presided over the Staff Day Commemoration at the PSG College of Arts and Science.



Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan presented honorary awards to the staff of the institution in recognition of their meritorious service and later addressed the press.

In her guest lecture, Dr. Tamilisai lauded the landmark foundation of the institution even before Independent India and PSG's commitment towards education through a philanthropic approach. "The versatility of the founder and the long-living memories of his service to society reflect the authenticity of the Institution and its members," she stated.

Highlighting the employer and employee relationship, she mentioned that both should be committed to the other. Every employee should try to renew their skills and be devoted to the organization that they serve. "Rather than complaining, both of them should be flexible to adapt to the circumstance and situation for a promising result by all means," she added.

Presenting more real-life examples for the teachers gathered at the event, Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan urged them to upgrade themselves to the technological advances and expand their thought process to tackle the alpha generation. "With more exposure to information and knowledge, it is a pure challenge for teachers to grab the attention of students and indulge them in more classroom learning.

Also, the co-existence of a healthy mind and physique for a better lifestyle is necessary for which Yoga and other exercises are recommended. In this concern, our honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made an incredible initiative by announcing June 21 as the National Yoga Day. His governance has encouraged the nation towards a healthy lifestyle," she added.



Later, in her media interaction, Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan commented on the appointment of Governors and stated that qualified people are chosen and appointed by the President but Tamil Nadu has failed to recognize. To the query on law and order infringement in the State, she responded saying, "Ask the State leader."
