Dr Chandra Mouli, Head Of the Department of Computer Science, Central University, Thiruvarur, was the Chief Guest and inaugurated the national conference.
Coimbatore: Computer Stream of Sri Krishna Arts and Science College (SKASC), Kuniamuthur, in collaboration with ICT Academy organized the 11th National Conference on “Intelligent Computing “ at the college premises.
Dr Chandra Mouli, Head Of the Department of Computer Science, Central University, Thiruvarur was the Chief Guest and inaugurated the national conference.
While addressing the conference he said “various sectors in the world need the application and usage of ICT. The Use of ICT has reached remote villages. Innovating people-friendly technology is the need of the hour.â€
“Students, faculties and research scholars should be involved in the research and find new innovative techniques for societal betterment. He also gave valuable insight about computer intelligence and the future scope of computer intelligence in this competitive world†he said.
Dr P. Kumaran, Assistant Professor, NIT, Puducherry was the Guest of honour and delivered the address on Intelligent Computing.
Meanwhile Dr Jeen Marseline, Dean, ICT and Mathematics Department welcomed the gathering, while Principal Dr R.Jagajeevan inaugurated the Proceedings and Dr M Renuka Devi, Head of Department, BCA and CSA proposed a vote of thanks.
Dr.C. Sunita, Head of Department, Department of Computer Science. Dr Anuja Beatrice Program In-charge, Dept of Computer Science, faculties and students from various colleges took part in the conference.
About 320 research papers were presented at the conference.
