The 41st graduation ceremony of the Tamilnadu Agricultural University is all set with important guests such as Vice President Venkaiya Naidu, Governor Banwarilal Purohit and Agriculture Minister Anbazhagan participating the event.
Over 1,385 students are getting their graduation tomorrow. Vice President Venkaiya Naidu is saud to arrive in Coimbatore todayand will be staying at the government guest house in race course.
The preparation for the graduation ceremony happening tomorrow evening at 4pmis overseen by the district collector Rajamani. The district collector had ordered goverment officers including revenue officer, police officials to be checked for Covid-19 by the health department.
Covid-19 tests have been made mandatory to the 10 students who are getting their graduation certificate on the stage.
The health care department official said that they have tested around 300 officials and guests including all serving officers in the emergency department having been tested for Covid-19 and they will only be allowed if the tests showed negative.
The rehearsals for the graduation ceremony and the travel route transporting the vice president were checked by the police and other officials of the university yesterday.
