Coimbatore: A student of PSGR Krishnammal Higher Secondary School for Girls in Coimbatore, M. Vasuki, has scored an exemplary 571 in NEET 2020. She has achieved this feat entirely on her own and without resorting to any additional private tuitions. She is the top scorer among the students of government and government aided schools in the Coimbatore District.
Hailing from an economically backward family, she achieved this laurel through her grit and dedication, the timeless and tireless efforts of her teachers, and support of her family. Vasuki’s preparations for the exams were limited to the extra classes her teachers offered and the priceless online classes/coaching made available for students by the government. Her friends lent her a hand from whom she acquired old CBSE books to prepare herself for the exam.
Vasuki plans to specialise in oncology after completing her MBBS. Having experienced a death of a close relative from cancer, she became determined to study oncology and help those in a similar situation.
The GRG trust and the school management have congratulated her on her achievement and have wished the budding physician well.
